SUITED: EMPOWERED FEMININE FASHION

Suited was the inaugural fashion exhibition for the Avenier Fashion and Textile Galleries in the newly refurbished Martin Building at the Denver Art Museum. On view in the winter of 2021/22, the show looked at the history of tailoring in women's fashion over the last century, from functional beginnings to high fashion questioning gender divisions through a series of classic and provocative looks.
